Final Project Concepts

For my final project, we were allowed to produce whatever we wanted. I chose to produce three character concepts based on a Video Game Design Project I did: two sub concepts of different art styles and a final one combining the two.
These are the three concepts I produced.

Sarah - Dock - Cartoon

 Alessa - Forest - Realistic

Alessa - Street - Cartoon

Despicable World Cup

As you all know, the 2014 World Cup is taking place. My mother's workplace has decided to set up an activity for this occasion: each section is given a football team to represent, and to decorate their workplace in the team's colors. When each team is kicked out of the World Cup, the section representing them has to take down their decorations. My mother's section was given Algeria to represent.
And so my mother asked me to produce a poster to decorate her section with, specifically in the Despicable Me Minions theme. I took up the task, and through digital painting on Photoshop this is what I produced. Shading and block colors were painted with a tablet, and the trickier details were created through manipulating textures.

First Character Design

As part of our 3D Modelling project we were required to design a character. This is a character sheet I produced. Yes, the quality is a little poor, but this is how it came out when I uploaded it to this blog.
This would also serve as my first attempt at Digital Painting and the use of textures.

Game Design

Video Game Cover

Above is a design of a cover for a video game we were told to create concept art for. In my design I included the color theme for my game: monochromatic with red being the only color.
The video game, Ashes and Roses, is a survival horror based on the Black Death.

Blog Design Brainstorm

A rough brainstorm for my blog design. I personally did not see any point of including this, but my current project insisted on it.
